I started my artistic career later in life after years of working as an Accounting Professional. It's been a journey of discovery to release the artistic me and find the styles that make me happiest.
I've worked in a range of media, although I have my own particular preferences that I keep coming back to. I am still on a journey of discovery and enjoying testing new styles. This site is dedicated to the journey.
Lately I have been concentrating on colored pencil works. These are detailed drawings of wildlife and pet portraits. My own cats provide me with inspiration and participate as my models. I love capturing those expressions and textures in animals.
This is a recent project that I created for my sister. We all have animals we can relate to and feel reflect our inner selves. This drawing is a work in process that I created for my sister to represent her spirit animal. The final drawing can be seen on my main gallery page.
In addition to animals I also enjoy creating drawings of nature still lives. Shown here are roses that were given to me for my birthday. They were such and unual color and the bouquet was so beautiful, I felt I had to capture them in a drawing.
Every drawing to me is personal and truly reflects that passion that I feel for my art and this medium. Colored pencil works are for sale and I do take commissions. If you are interested please contact me for details.
